Consider asking for daily specials at dinner. the menu can sometimes feel repetitive without them.

Everything was nice, the service was very good. Everyone who worked there was excellent and smart. The hotel was great, it had an amazing location close to the outside garden area, an Indian restaurant and the beer garden. The restaurant had excellent food, loved it.

Unique period features, ample outdoor dining space, good transport links
Dusty rooms and dusty amenities need attention!!! Noise levels from the bar area disrupt relaxation!!! Heavy reliance on steep stairs makes it inconvenient!!! Some rooms lack natural light, affecting comfort!!!

The outside bar created a lovely atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the evening. The food, especially dinner and breakfast, impressed me with its quality and presentation. The staff were great. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. On the downside, the shower needed some grip aids. Some areas of the room could use a more thorough cleaning, as I noticed some dust. The noise from the bar sometimes filtered into the room. Despite these issues, I can't fault the food or the service, both really stood out .

Super comfy beds and an amazing brekkie!
The room was clean and had lovely views. Staff were super friendly. The full English brekkie was the highlight, really the best we've had! Just a shame about the stairs. They're quite a trek with luggage.

Really good dining experience and lovely staff
The room was warm, clean, and offered beautiful views. The staff's attentiveness really made a difference. Everything was on point, but perhaps the road noise could be an issue for light sleepers. I look forward to coming back!
